My experience at Burdi's was nothing short of stellar. We all know the reputation that is given to the auto mechanic industry, and, for good reasoning. However, a friend recommended this shop and I truly could now be more satisfied with everything top to bottom. There wasn't a second that I felt skeptical about being jerked around. Everyone from the front office to the mechanics themselves took the time to educate me on the problems I had with my car and made me feel like a valued customer. I have had good and bad experiences with shops, but there is only one place I am taking my car from here on out.

It's very interesting how I was introduced to Carmine and his Father Carmine Sr. I own a dealership in Villa Park and I had an out of state customer who wanted to purchase a 2005 Mercedes Benz C320 with only 15k Miles. He was from Wisconsin and asked me specifically to take the Mercedes To Burdi's Motorworks to get it inspected before he purchased it. He had done some research and said these were the guys to take it to because they specialized in Mercedes. When I took the Mercedes there to get it inspected I was welcomed by Carmine Jr. and His father. They were very nice and professional and honest. They told me my customers car needed front brakes which I had replaced there at the time for a great price. I was really happy with their service and since then I've taken all my Mercedes to these guys for work. If you're looking for a reputable honest repair facility for Your Mercedes or any other vehicle I would definitely recommend Burdi's. !

Burdi's is the best place to take your Mercedes, period. They are about 50% the cost of similar work than dealership. Just because there is a drop in price does not mean that the quality of the labor drops they consistently do excellent work and fix everything on my car and let me know future issues that might occur. Carmine especially will tell me exactly what is up with my car without any bs if something does not need to be changed he wont do it and let me know that I still got a couple months before I need work done. This type of honesty is hard to find. They also listen to you when the dealer will not. The dealer would not listen to me when I kept on telling them that my car was making a funny noise and told me that it is ok but Burdi's not only listened but found the problem and fixed it. (wheel hub) Burdis is the place I will continue to go and I recommend them highly to anyone that owns a Mercedes.

Carmine Jr. is my new best friend! I tried to do a self service on my 1993 190e since I had plenty of time and not a lot of money. When I realized that I was in over my head with an electrical issue, I called Burdi's and explained my circumstances to Carmine Jr. German engineering was over my head and I needed help. I felt bad because this was an "À la carte" for the mechanic because I had pulled the firewall apart from the dash to the engine block. I had a few other issues going on and Carmine Jr. always had time to speak to me even though I didn't appear as scheduled for the first time. I felt confident in leaving my car in their hands, but was a bit skeptical about what the diagnosis would be. (The problem turned out to be an unseen broken wire.) They did great work, quickly, and most importantly they cared. They took the time to listen to my problem and provide a real solution for me at a fair price! Carmine Jr.had it ready within just a few hours. I'm glad I gave Burdi's Motorworks a try! My experience was great. Good professional service with people who seem to really know their business. I highly recommend them.

You never quite feel comfortable buying a car or having it repaired. Always sense you are getting screwed, especially by your local MB dealer/mechanic. Carmen at Burdi Motors changed all that! Very reasonable, went out of his way to accommodate me and my needs. We to the dealer first to get a diagnosis and repair quote, then went to Carm. 50% less expensive!! Even tried to talk me out of a repair that he thought wasn't worth doing because of the year and mileage on my car. Lined up a loaner at no charge. As long as I drive a Mercedes, Carm is on my speed dial! Give him a try---you will not be disappointed.

I switched (after reading the reviews on Yelp) to Burdi's for excellent work at a less expensive price than a dealer. They offer pickup and drop off at the near by Metra stations. They gave a list of items that need to be fixed or soon to be concerned about but didn't push any of them on me. They worked with my extended warranty plan! -- I came back next year for my service and to fix a vibration. No problem again. They worked with my extended warranty to get some things fixed. They also recommended I visit a MB dealer to get my brake pump reprogrammed since it was throwing an error. -- Still bringing my car there after 5 years, nothing but good things to say.

I found Burdi's Motors on the internet and came straight after calling. It was very nice of Mr B to show us the problems of the breaks and springs. He also told me the spring and paint damages were caused by the salt for melting snow. He did not push us to change any parts unless it's 100% necessary. Mr B is definitely a very reliable person that I can count on for my car.

they do great work at a great price. all the latest gizmos & gadgets to diagnose with very fair prices They work on my grandfathers 1970 MB and my family's new model MB's. Compare pricing to FJ and you'll be astonished... And still have MB Mastertech working on car. A+++

I searched for an alternative to taking my Mercedes Benz to the dealership for service when I had a bad experience at the dealership with overcharging and some damage to my car. Burdi's Motor Works' website came up in my search results, and the information on the company website described exactly the services I was looking for. Burdi's Motor Works' website has a great Q&A section with details on the different types of services that modern Mercedes Benz's need with their computerized service indicators. The website also has some general guidelines about how long certain items should last and when they should be replaced. The website brags that prices for repairs at Burdi's Motor Works are generally half the cost of what you would pay at the dealership. I happened to require the same brake service within days. My dealership charged me $750 for front brake pad and rotor service. And at Burdi's Motor Works, the price for replacing just the brake pads was $250 and the owner of the shop let me know that on most Mercedes Benz models, the brake rotors ordinarily last 60,000 miles. My car had only 19,500 miles. I have completely lost faith in my dealer and I probably won't be back since I feel like I was taken advantage of there. And as a testament to the boast on the website, my repair was more like 66% off. Carmine Burdi is the owner of the shop, and is a Certified Mercedes Factory Trained Technician. Look him up when you need to get your Mercedes Benz repaired, and do yourself a favor by saving yourself a load of cash.
