The finest mechanics for my classic 1997 Mercedes SL 500 Sport. They know everything about the car and are perfectionists. I trust them with my “baby”. They are honest and very reasonable on pricing. I highly recommend Burdi Motorworks. A good family run honest business.

Finding an honest mechanic is always a challenge. I used Burdi for the first time after being told by the dealer that my 2001 Sl500 had a rear main seal leak and they wanted close to $3k to repair. Upon inspection, Vince and crew determined that while there may be a very small leak, it was not significant enough to warrant a repair. I had them perform some other work unrelated to the “leak” and was very satisfied with the cost and quality of their work. I’m thrilled to have found an honest mechanic.

I cannot say enough good things about Vince and Carmine Burdi, and Burdi Motorworks overall. Most people would run from owning a 20 year old Mercedes-Benz or shudder at the thought of having it worked on anywhere other than a qualified Mercedes dealership. Burdi Motorworks alleviated all of my concerns or fears -- they are knowledgeable, honest, and will advise you on repairs or service needed based on decades of experience rather than pushing you to facilitate repairs to increase their bill. They have earned my implicit trust and respect and are my go-to for jobs big and small.

Vince and Team Burdi! WOW! A+ shop top to bottom. After brining my 650i into Elmhurst BMW (Avoid them!) for a rear side window power sun shade stuck in the up position. They told me they wouldn't remove the door trim to see if the mechanism was off track/needed a new belt for the drive train. Despite telling me the tech said he could hear the electric motor running when the button was activated. Elmhurst BMW refused to triage unless I ordered a whole new unit and just replaced the whole thing @ $900 with 2 hours labor included. No thanks Elmhurst BMW. I prefer real mechanics, and I found one @ Burdi! Vince was a pleasure to work with and he had my car back next day and was a REAL mechanic who fixed the issue. And best part he didn't charge me for it. A customer for life. I've also had terrible experiences with Northbrook BMW. Look no further for your A1 honest euro mechanic! Simply the best.

Burdi has been our service provider for years. Carmine, Vince & crew are nothing less than professional & trustworthy when it comes to service for our fleet. While they are consistently scheduled they always manage to work our cars in. Clients for life.

Has to be one of the best experiences I have had at a local, independent shop. Their work is certainly as good as, if not better than, the dealer. I have nothing but great things to say about Carmine (both of them) and Vince. Extremely knowledgeable, honest, and accessible. Would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to properly service their vehicles.
